USA Annual Session of the National Baptist Convention

The Annual Session of the National Baptist Convention, USA, which convenes during the first week of each September, is the major business meeting of the group's boards, auxiliaries, and member churches. During the annual session, delegates deal with business issues. However, they also share Christian fellowship and, through a series of forums, explore such issues as health and wellness, social justice, and empowerment, often with emphasis on their impact on the African-American community.
