Giant Lantern Festival

This festival is a highlight of Christmas in the Philippines. In San Fernando, Pampanga, giant lanterns of colored paper and capiz shells, some 12 feet in diameter, are lit and carried in a parade. The event attracts crowds of people from Manila and nearby provinces. Discuss
